it has been months since i last posted a blog. i got too busy with work, was sick for few weeks, and went home for 5 days to attend my sister's graduation. anyways, enough of that.
i was cleaning my yahoo email account when i read an email my sister sent which has my old poems. ok, to give you a brief background, i was into writing poems since i was 10 or 11 years old until college. after college, i somehow lost the "talent".
i would like to share this one particular poem because i am in the process of letting go of someone. i wrote this back in July of 2000. and to be honest, at the time i wrote this, i just imagined the situation and wanted to somehow capture the pain. hope you'll like it. feel free to drop a comment. cheers.

Letting Go
The lightest touch
The saddest smile
The gentlest kiss
... it's been a while
Here in your arms
Me holding you tight
Keeping you close
In the still of the night
You looked at me
You touched my cheek
You held my hand
... to scared to speak
Closing my eyes
Not wanting to cry
You let go of my hand
And you whispered goodbye.
